ROCKET CLUBS
Welcome! Our Model Rocket club has a centrally located, legal, supervised and controlled
Model Rocket launch site serving the "Los Angeles/Orange County area" and we also use
the Lucerne Dry Lake Bed site in San Bernardino County. We also conduct Model Rocket
building and design classes for individuals, families and youth groups.
The Rocketry Organization of California (ROC) is a model and high-power rocketry club based
primarily in Southern and Central California. ROC holds single day sport launches at Lucerne
Dry Lake in Lucerne Valley, CA on the second Saturday of each month, except for June and
November which are three day launches, called ROCstock. All launches are safety-conscious,
family-oriented events, designed to promote a fun and positive atmosphere, where rockets of
all sizes are welcome!
Tripoli is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and operation of amateur high power rocketry. Our
members are drawn from the United States and 22 additional countries across the globe. Tripoli's largest annual
launch, is held once a year with the location being selected by the hosting Prefecture.
